Research
The aim of this Department is to preserve, conserve and manage the collections in its care according to the highest possible museum standards. The Department holds significant collections of 19th Century and contemporary European household articles, textiles, documents and photographs; an international numismatic collection; archaeological objects related to human activity from early Stone Age to historic times and anthropological objects related to the lifestyles of indigenous peoples.
