Elsa Kotzé matriculated in 1993 at Oranje Meisieskool. She obtained a National Diploma (Fine Art) in 1996 from the Free State Technikon (now Central University of Technology), majoring in Printmaking. She started her career at a promotional company and other work experience included designing and layout for a local newspaper and a printing company. She was appointed as Graphic Designer at the Museum in 2000 and her core functions include designing and layout of temporary exhibitions and marketing material. She is also responsible for photographing scientific material and exhibitions.
Elsa enjoys reading, the outdoors, hiking, designing furniture and other functional art.
